Poise

The acrobatic appearance of Poise, a table lamp designed by Robert Dabi of unform.studio shifts between static & dynamic and a big or small posture. Depending on the proportion between its' illuminated ring and the arm holding it, an intersecting or tangent line to the circle occurs. When placed on a higher shelf, the ring could overhang the shelf; or by tilting the ring, it could touch a surrounding wall. The intention of this adjustability is to get the owner creatively involved and play with the light source in proportion to other objects surrounding it.

If they feel commercially available components don’t fit their technological or esthetic concept, they develop the components themselves or have them manufactured precisely to their requirements. With the ST5, myStromer AG has taken design integration to a new level. There are hardly any visible cables, and even the handlebar, the electronics-intensive control center of the ST5, is completely clean. The battery is integrated in the downtube – this has always been the case on myStromer AG's e-bikes and they were the first manufacturer to do so.

The Milwaukee Redstick Digital Level is one of the first mainstream box level products to have only digital feedback (no ‘spirit vials’) and is the most accurate levels on the market. Integrated with Milwaukee Tool's latest Pinpoint technology, the Redstick digital levels feature a circular display that's well designed, super easy to read, and can be read from the side and the top. The digital signal tolerances can be adjusted, so if you want something “close” to level, it will let you know when you get there.

The AdaptDx Pro is an automated dark adaptometer that offers the ophthalmic industry a wearable test device that benefit patients by early detection of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The wearable device is powered by a digital assistant named Theia which guides the testing and interacts with patients using voice prompts driven by artificial intelligence. A personalized testing environment is achieved with adjustable padded head straps and flexible eye cups that ensure a light-tight seal. Internally, a camera guided positioning system aligns optics for testing.

With its clear, distinctly proportioned areas and precise edges, the machine looks altogether very modern and progressive. The ergonomically arranged and clearly structured control panels together with the audit areas were neatly and with high contrast integrated into the housing. The system comes across as being generally very user friendly.
